We're a group of recently graduated film students looking to make our first feature film and we need some awesome bands who are interested in playing themselves and appearing on screen playing as their band. The movie is a love story set in and around the indie music scene so we are looking to connect with some cool bands and feature their music and or themselves onscreen playing their own music at concerts and house parties in the film. We are either shooting this coming September or next June depending on the schedule of one of our lead actors and our director (from London). Each band would probably only need to be available for one or two days at the most so this might be a cool way to get some cool footage and exposure for your band and or help out some up and coming film kids. If you are interested please send us your website or myspace or some way to listen to your music. Also we are auditioning the lead female role in the film and somewhat hoping that a band's female singer might also be interested in acting and thus reading for this role. If this is true for you please send your photo and acting experience etc. We're happy to send our reels over if you want to learn more about us as collaborators. Though the production part of this (appearing on camera etc) is for no pay if the band is used on the soundtrack then of course they will get a percentage of the sales from that.
